So, you have reached popularity 50, and now you are trying to gain the Gourmet Points and money, in order to move up in ranking. So how do you exactly find out whether your layout is more efficient than others?
This technique is only accurate when all of your workers have 80%+ health.You will also need a timer, paper and pen or pencil + calculator if you are REALLY bad at math.
To measure your own restaurants efficiency, do the following:
(1) Exit and reenter your restaurant. Start the timer as soon as you enter.
(2) Wait one minute for all the customers to settle in, then once the one minute is over, jot down the amount of money you have.
(3) Wait another minute, and then jot down the amount of money you have now.
(4) Subtract the two numbers to find out how much money you earned in 1 minutes. Feel free to time it more than a minute, just remember to divide it by the number of minutes you timed.
(5) Divide the number by 2 to find out how many customers you served within a minute. This always works since all dishes in RC sell for $2.
So there you have your restaurants efficiency. You can also calculate your friends’ layout efficiency by doing the following:
(1) Enter your friend’s restaurant. Start the timer as soon as you enter, and mute their music DO NOT MUTE THE SOUND FX.
(2) Wait one minute for all the customers to settle in, then once the one minute is over, this is where the difficult part comes in. Listen carefully for the sound of the cash being collected after the waiter collects the plates. (Should sound something like “caching”)
(3) Wait another minute, and then jot down the number of “cachings” you heard. This is the number of customers you serve within a minute.
The larger the number the better, since it means that you served more customers, which also means you earned more Gourmet Points and money.
