1. Basic mazing:
In mazing, almost any non wall hanging thing works. From trophies, to mailboxes, to wall blocks, anything except for tables, chairs, stoves(they would work, I wouldn’t recommend it.)

2. Efficient money mazing:

Usually when you maze, you don’t want to go too expensive, unless you try to make a theme. Usually, the trophy and mailboxes will always be great for mazing, being little to no cost.
3. When to use it:

Never ever ever use mazing in low levels. Under level 17, it actually slows production because customers walk slower. The only time you should use it, is if you have too much customers even with your waiting chairs and arcades. 4: Placement of other things:
Arcades, they always go near the doorway, even if you use a maze. Waiting chairs in my opinion, should be the tables

5: Is mazing good?
It depends. It can save your pop, if you have a crazy influx of customers, but it isn’t always the best choice. I acheive 50 pop without using toilets or a maze.

This technique is only accurate when all of your workers have 80%+ health.You will also need a timer, paper and pen or pencil + calculator if you are REALLY bad at math.

To measure your own restaurants efficiency, do the following:

(1) Exit and reenter your restaurant. Start the timer as soon as you enter.

(2) Wait one minute for all the customers to settle in, then once the one minute is over, jot down the amount of money you have.

(3) Wait another minute, and then jot down the amount of money you have now.

(4) Subtract the two numbers to find out how much money you earned in 1 minutes. Feel free to time it more than a minute, just remember to divide it by the number of minutes you timed.

(5) Divide the number by 2 to find out how many customers you served within a minute. This always works since all dishes in RC sell for $2.

So there you have your restaurants efficiency. You can also calculate your friends’ layout efficiency by doing the following:

(1) Enter your friend’s restaurant. Start the timer as soon as you enter, and mute their music DO NOT MUTE THE SOUND FX.

(2) Wait one minute for all the customers to settle in, then once the one minute is over, this is where the difficult part comes in. Listen carefully for the sound of the cash being collected after the waiter collects the plates. (Should sound something like “caching”)

(3) Wait another minute, and then jot down the number of “cachings” you heard. This is the number of customers you serve within a minute.

The larger the number the better, since it means that you served more customers, which also means you earned more Gourmet Points and money.

To scroll around your restaurant and its surroundings, hold onto your left mouse button and drag it. [Inside the restaurant]

You can shake trees (found outside restaurants) for money by clicking on them. So go around to your friends’ place and shake their trees too. [Inside the restaurant]

Earn extra cash by clearing up other people’s trash. To clear trash, click on it with your mouse. [Inside the restaurant]

To avoid over-exhausting your employees when you leave the game for more than 3 hours, simply remove the door or place an item (such as a deco tree or mailbox) in front of your door. The place will be empty. [Inside your restaurant] – Submitted by Tweak

Feed your workers so they have max health then ‘save and quit’ before you go to sleep or head out for >5 hours. When you load the game again, you should get an earning of 2000 coins. Your employees may be lying there exhausted but you can fix that with a sandwich (Please note that you MUST ‘save and quit’ FIRST. Do not let it run on your computer while you are gone.)

You can distract the extra customers with arcade machines! They will play and then leave the restaurant without decreasing your popularity points -

Apart from the arcade machine, sinks and toilets, the other deco items are currently not interactive so spend your money wisely on items that you need.

Think twice before buying an item because although they may be cheap (such as windows), don’t get them yet if you have your eye on something more pricey. Just save up since how you decorate the restaurant does not affect the number of customers or your popularity – Submitted by mochinez23

Sometimes you may miss trash because it’s concealed by another object. Simply click the “Redecorate” or “Street View” button, then return to your restaurant. The trash will have shuffled around to a different random spot, and you should probably be able to see it! – Submitted by quixx

Try not to let the health of your workers go below 80% as their efficiency will decrease quite signficantly. – Submitted by dabacon

Got no cleaner to clean toilets? Or are they ignoring the dirty toilets? Just remove the toilets by ‘redecorating’ then place them back! Good as new!

• Focus on leveling on ONE type of starter, main and dessert. Be open to trading so you can collect items required to level up your chosen specific meals. You will get more gourmet points when customers order dishes of greater level.
• Arrange your tables in this manner; where everyone is seated close to the cooks so the waiters do not have to waste time walking

  

• Trade ingredients you need with friends! Leveling up dishes is a speedy way to success.
• If possible, try to find someone who wishes to level up dishes completely different from yours (of which require different ingredients to yours) so you can trade and help each other to advance!
• Want to tell your friends the items you need? Use your restaurant name to leave a message such as “Need Flour and Milk”. It’s a simple, clever and effective way of saying what you want!
• Leave your website running whilst you sleep! The extra cash will be leveled out by the GP and coins you will make whilst open.
• Adding “temporary” friends may help you get more ingredients but please be aware that Facebook will shut your account down if you add too many friends within a short period of time.
• To delay the customers’ journey to their tables, create a barrier by arranging dividers or any deco items from the doorway leading towards the dining area. This will allow more time for the waiters to clear the tables – Submitted by Faww
